Ever try to figure out how the power windows work using the service manual?
I hope not, or it will cause a serious headache.

maybe not, there are several ways this happens but this is the easiest one to show.
trace 12volt power down the diagram like this
guess what happens when you flip that main switch at the bottom
After sitting down with the actual switches and an ohm meter

small change, but it makes a huge difference, and it's the way it really works
